Steven Beningo works as a Transportation Specialist in the Bureau of Transportation Statistics of the U.S. Department of Transportation. In his current position, Mr. Beningo works on international transportation data programs. He manages the TransBorder Freight Data Program, which involves data on U.S. trade with Canada and Mexico by mode of transportation. In addition, Mr. Beningo works on border crossing data, serves as the Secretary of the Transportation Research Board’s International Trade and Transportation Committee, as the Chair of the Transportation Energy and Environmental Indicators Working Group of the North American Transportation Statistics Interchange, as the Co-Chair of the Trade and Traffic Data Committee of the Transportation Border Working Group. He also functions as the BTS Liaison to the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office’s Connected Data Systems Program. |
