Maximilian is an Austrian lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in transport and innovation policy, currently working as a Seconded National Expert at the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) in Prague, Czech Republic. Before, he worked in the Austrian Ministry for transport on issues of transport research, trends in transport and economy and trade and transport with an international focus. He was especially involved in shaping the ministry’s policy with regard to trade aspects and especially the EU’s trade agreements with third countries and their effects on the transport sector. Thereby, he adds a European and policy making perspective to the work of the committee, as well as the issues of market access and trade in services. In addition, he worked on questions of economic and political integration and disintegration and the respective consequences for transport, research and innovation. |
