Scudder Smith is a Principal Consultant with WSP’s Freight and Logistics practice. He is a leading analyst of international trade and transportation, and U.S. domestic freight markets. He has led market analysis and demand forecasting studies for the Panama Canal Authority supporting both expansion planning and international financing, and for the U.S. DOT study of impacts of the Panama Canal expansion. He has worked on due diligence market studies for many of the port-related financial transactions in the Americas over the past decade, totaling billions of dollars. His work has also included numerous U.S. freight planning studies for public and private clients. He earned masters and undergraduate degrees from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and is a member of the Transportation Research Board International Trade and Transportation Committee. |
