Ahmadreza Talebian, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Transportation Engineering at the Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). Prior to a joining IUT, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Memphis and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his Ph.D. in transportation engineering in 2016 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.Dr. Talebian has been involved in several research projects sponsored by Illinois Department of Transportation, California Department of Transportation, Tennessee Department of Transportation, and American Public Transportation Association. His research interest includes optimal planning of transportation systems, application of advanced econometric and statistical techniques in transportation, transportation economics and finance, and transportation demand modeling. Dr. Talebian’s research has appeared in several leading conferences and high-impact journals. Dr. Talebian is currently a member of Public Transportation Planning and Development (AP025), Freight Rail Transportation (AR040), and International Trade and Transportation (AT020) of the TRB. |
