Egeland, Jagoda

Advisor to the Secretary-General, International Transport Forum, OECD

Jagoda Egeland has joined the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2011. Since 2015, she has been leading various projects at the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD. Ms. Egeland currently serves as a strategic advisor in the Office of ITF Secretary-General. Prior to taking up her role at the ITF, she was in charge of managing strategy and relationships with airlines at the UK Airports Commission, a body set up by the Prime Minister to examine the long-term airport capacity needs in the UK. During her time at the Commission, Ms. Egeland led work on aviation connectivity, airline competition, scenario-based forecasting, hub economics, and the future of global route networks. Ms. Egeland has also worked as a consultant on public policy issues in the private sector and taught economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Ms. Egeland holds an MS in Public Policy from Maastricht University and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.
